Using a hammer and chisel, anyone can turn a stone into rubble. It takes the skill of an artist to use these tools and transform a stone into a sculpture.
CoolSculpting sculpts the body. It selectively removes fat cells from the body. At Medical Spa NW, CoolSculpting is a fine art. Our esthetic outcomes are the result of our systematic approach to training, personalized evaluation, skillful technique, treatment to transformation and using the state-of-the-art applicators for body contouring.
The CoolSculpting® Artists

State-of-the-art Treatment Applicators
Medical Spa NW uses the state-of-the-art CoolSculpting applicators. These applicators are a significant improvement. They reduce treatment time by almost in half. Their shape allows for treatment of more tissue with greater comfort. The results are better, too.
The CoolSculpting applicator is a special tool that esthetically removes fat cells. The CoolSculpting applicator has a number of features that enhance the skill of the CoolSculpting artist. These include: size, shape, contour and feathering.
Feathering is a term that comes from painting. Artists sometimes use an actual feather to create a smooth transition between different color areas, such as when painting clouds. In CoolSculpting, feathering means that there is a smooth transition between the treated and untreated areas. Feathering is why CoolSculpting results look so natural. You will look good regardless of what you are wearing, including your birthday suit*.
CoolSculpting applicators come in two basic shapes: a cup or a plate. The cup shaped applicators were developed to treat bulges. There are four different sizes of cups. The smallest was developed for treatment of the double-chin. The largest was developed for bulk reduction of the abdomen.
The cup applicators also have different contours to fit different parts of the body. The curved contour was developed for the flanks. The straight contour was developed for the arm and inner thighs. The core contour was developed for the abdomen.
The plate applicator was developed for treatment of the outer thigh. This tissue tends to be firm and dome shaped. The plate applicator has also been successfully used on the flanks and abdomen.
With all the different applicator shapes, sizes and contours our CoolSculpting artists have a large repertoire of body transformation tools.
